I'm just checking in to see how people are going with the pattern. I've had a couple of people give me feedback so far, all of which have been really great helpful criticisms.

I'll be uploading a short video later today/evening (it's 6pm here) of my puppet, but the pattern won't be on sale for a little while as I edit it to fix whatever needs to be fixed.

I am hoping to start sewing this weekend.  I haven't made too many puppets but I have already learned that they tend to look better if I hand sew rather then machine sew.  I have a 2 hour car ride this weekend so I plan to cut out the pattern today (hoping I have enought time before I have to leave) and sewing as we drive.  Figured it was a great way to pass time! Looking forward to seeing the finished product!

I finally had time to review the pattern and Na has taken a lot of time as many others have in putting together a good pattern with easy to follow directions. She has lots of pictures for those that do not quite understand each step. I'm a visual type person............... being dyslexic sometimes it takes me a bit to understand something and must read it several times. This pattern has step by step pictures and is easy to follow. The fact that she is using fur instead of fleece is a plus. This allows you to see the versatility of the pattern.
I am so happy that everyone at this forum are exploring there own possibilities and designing patterns. This makes the world of puppetry more exciting and fun. Na good luck with this pattern, I really think people will enjoy it.

Billy D.

To add To: I have the upmost respect to those who are designing patterns to sell. I am still working on mine. I did not realize the amount of work involved.Sure I have cut my own patterns out of brown wrapping paper all the time with notes all over them. Those are for me just to see. when presenting it to the public it has to be neat clean and easy to understand.

Hopefully, I will get to it this coming week, maybe starting it tomorrow.  I work in a Christian school full-time, and am also concertmaster of an orchestra...we have a concert this weekend!  Smile  So, needless to say, I haven't been able to work on it yet...I'll post pics, as soon as I can.

Hey Na, unfortunately the pattern link didn't work for me and I'm guessing it is an IE error. I'm going to download Firefox today but I'll need a new link, sorry for being such a bother!

Well, I'm glad people are liking it so far, and understand everyone's busy (I'm impatient Wink ) so I'll just cool my heels.

Thanks gdub106, I'll reset the link. Apologies for the problems, it's one of those things that should be fixed easily but for some reason won't.

Na,
I have the puppet about half way done and have run into some snags. I have to put it on hold for a while in order to finish a big project I am working on. Will pick it up when the project is finished.

Na, quick question here...
With the copyright on your pattern, are you allowing people to sell completed puppets, like Project Puppet does; or simply to use for personal and ministry use?
Thanks,
Sara

Got your email Sue and will reply to that soon.

You can sell the completed puppets, and/or use them for personal/ministry use. You can't sell the pattern though Wink

No worries, I'll PM you.
