Oh nothing on your end NA. That neck was made for a monster puppet. As that's what it's being sold as. I went with a more person/ cartoony looking puppet and the neck didn't work for me. I didn't have a good monster in my head so I went with a puppet that would show the flexibilitie of the puppet pattern.

Ah, ok. I get it now.
Anyway, I'm just about finished with updating the pattern. I may send it on to those of you who have it, so you can compare and give feedback on the changes. I've resized the body and neck to 200% (about 40cm wide by 20cm high), which should fix most of the problems with the puppet being too small.

I have a question for people. I was going to offer the puppet pattern in two parts: you can buy the head pattern separately from the body/neck pattern. Do people think that's a good idea, or would you be more likely to buy the whole thing if provided as one product?

Hm, I do not mind buying it separately or as a set.
But maybe more comfortable would be if bought together at once?

Yeah I would say with both together. I don't think it would work as well in two parts.

Looks like you got your six, but if you want to feel sorry for someone who doesn't get to get in to the forum on a regular basis to get in on these opportunities, I would be more than tickled pink ( or at least a shade of purple) to try it out.

Ok, then the pattern will be sold all together.
FOR THOSE WHO HAVE THE PATTERN: I have updated the files with the correctly sized patterns. It's just print and use - so I would appreciate those people who've finished the body and neck, redownloading the pattern and checking against what they have made. I've reset the links (if you don't have the urls anymore, let me know and I will forward it to you again) so you can download it again. (The links have been reset for everyone, so if you want the updated version, please do download it)

Thanks magicman, but I have to stop giving it away now :P
I'm busy trying to fix all the problems, but the pattern will be available very soon for sale

I just downloaded the revised pattern for the body and neck and it looks great. I am just cutting and pasting together. I started the body with the smaller version (my version blown up 150%) but it is nowhere near this big. So excited to have the proper proportions now! Thanks for the fix.

Great - I think somewhere along the lines the resizing thing got muddled.... now all should be much much better.

The new pattern looks much better and is easier to use. As you can tell, some of us have challenges getting things to be the correct size. The original pattern was just so tiny, I'll be able to finish the puppet in a couple of weeks, hopefully. I'll post the original and the revised.

Here is the puppet I made. I messed up a bit on the neck, my fault, so it wasn't quit long enough and then I lost my spot sewing it on (too much fur everywhere!) but it still worked. I wouldn't recommend such long fur to a beginner, it can be difficult to work with.
