I am pleased to announce a tighter collaboration with Puppet Resources.  In the recent months the Puppet Resources Forum has suffered greatly from spammers and I offered Jeff Robson, the owner of Puppet Resources, the option to have a forum area here at Puppets and Stuff.

All the details are not yet worked out but I wanted to get the ball rolling so you'll now see a new section here that displays the logo and is titled Official Puppet Resources Forum. The main Script forum is actually the old one from the Putting It Together section. All the post that where in that forum have been moved to a private area for now till I can get them sorted out.

I have mimicked the setup somewhat from the old forum over at Puppet Resources. There are three forums within that area:
  • Scripts
  • Authors
  • Puppet Resources Site
The first two forums can be used for postings not directly related just to Puppet Resources but please use the third forum Puppet Resources Site for comments about that site only.

If you are interested in uploading scripts to Puppet Resources, I encourage you to do this, please remember that you'll need to register there in order to do that.  At the moment we do not share membership databases.  Hopefully down the line we can integrate registration between the two sites.

Beyond this simple collaboration we hope to integrate information such as Top 15 scripts, New scripts, New Post, Featured Script and Search capabilities between two sites in the future.  For now this well at least give our friends over at Puppet Resources a place they can things. Smiley

This is fantastic........................... I've been a member at Puppet Resources for years and refer them quite often. Now to be working side by side to better the Puppet Community is so exciting. Now linking actual scripts on related subjects will be a blast.

Thanks Shawn and Jeff
