I've got a really slow Internet connection tonight, but I've enjoyed what I've been able to download so far. Have you considered adding some kind of appropriate background music, or doing something with the lighting or set to add some variety? Eight and a half minutes of a talking head is kind of a tough act to pull off, even if it's a puppet head.
I found a link here awhile back where someone had taken their favorite podcast and turned it into a puppet show, with custom puppets made to look like the podcasters. It was called "How Much Do We Love," and featured a man and a woman who live in different parts of the US, but do this podcast together. That puppet adaptation did a pretty good job of solving the static talking head problem, but then again the material was much less subdued and reverent than a sermon.

I did love the varied vocal tone, and having the pastor look down at the Bible while he read from it. Nice touch. The audio was very clear, and I was able to understand most of it in spite of my poor grasp of Spanish. Was that you speaking, or did you "puppetize" someone else's sermon?
