You might notice the new forum area down in the General section called Amazon Puppet Books.  Our very own Billy has taken the time to sort through the books that are listed on Amazon to find the ones that relate to Puppetry and Stuff.  Each thread in that area has the title of the book in it.  If you view the thread then you see the info on it streamed from Amazon.  While this area will be maintained by Billy, so you won't be able to start threads, you can reply to any of the book listings there.  I encourage you to browse through them and if you have one of these great books or get it in the future take the time to add your take on the book.

Thanks Billy for all the time you have spent compiling this section for everyone!  thumbsup

Thanks Shawn  Smiley

I really enjoyed searching for these books on Amazon. It was totally impossible to list every book from them so I tried to highlight books that covered as many areas as we do here at " Puppets " and " Stuff ". My goal is to build up a great resource for buying books here by listing the 151 books we have so far and to keep building up the list. If I do not have a book listed feel free to PM or Email me with the  book title, author, and ISBN # for books or the ASIN # for DVDS or VHS and I will add it to our growing list.

I encourage each of you if you own any of these books or plan to buy them. Once you read the book please come back and give a review. This will help others when deciding whether they would purchase that particular book or not.

If there are any pages where a book link is bad, I would appreciate if you PM me and let me know. I hope you enjoy the new book section of the forum. If you have any suggestions on how to improve our book club so to speak please let me know.

Enjoy !

Billy D.

Yes I will be adding DVd's and any other related items that can be used to help anyone here at Puppets And stuff. So if you come across any DVD listings that you would want added let me know.

Thanks Billy for this work...will be useful for the puppeteers and
members of P&S.

I am a proud owner of some of the titles that I have been
collecting from amazon for the last 5 yrs through my good friends
& some I bought. It is quite an expensive affair to get
books on Puppetry. I also have some from Ray Da'silva's
collection. I started puppetry book collection only after
I joined my research work in 1999.

I did add some DVd's and The Foam Book VHS listings. The New foam book two disk DVD does include both of the original VHS copies. Thanks for all the positive feedback.
