Tomorrow is the first day of the Detroit festival. I'm so excited. We've been working hard on our performance and we had our dress rehearsal last night. It went pretty well and we're as ready as we can be. I'm just putting the final touches on the video and will burn the dvd tonight.

My daughter is flying in from Norfolk tomorrow, and because of the weather she had to leave her house today by 11:30 to make sure she could cross the tunnel. She said they were having torrential rain and winds of 55 mph, her road was flooded at low tide and the news people were telling people to leave early if they planned to leave at all. Pretty much everything is closed where she lives because of the rain. Glad I'm not there.

Anyway, she will make it to the festival for the performance so we are covered with all our people. Now to make sure I have everything we need and pack the car.

I'll make a video of the skit alone and upload it to youtube.

Are you performing or competing?  I wish I could see your skit!

We are going next weekend in Dallas.  I can't wait!!!!  We put on a black light show at our church last month and had a fund raiser luncheon the next day.  We got enough donations for all 14 of our team to go, eat and stay in a hotel!

I taught a basics workshop as well as helped with sales etc. We performed on Saturday afternoon. Our performance went very well, I was pleased with the result. I will post the skit portion on youtube, as well as two of the songs we did. The first song did not get recorded at all, but we will be redoing that song in December to get a good video for our records.
