Some of you had expressed an interest in how I built the prairie dog puppet.  Just for fun I recorded video of my building one of them.  Here is the link for the first video in that series.  The rest of them will be in the Bashful Puppet account as I get them up loaded.  Enjoy and let me know what you think.

THANKS!  I can't wait to see how to complete the puppet! Are you going to sell the pattern? I would be very interested.  Where do you get reticulated foam? I don't know that I have seen it at the same places I get the regular foam. You explained things SO WELL!! I am such a visual learner that I have a hard time just reading the directions I need a visual explanation as well. You did an EXCELLENT job.  I watched all the videos up till the sewing the fabric together and gluing - I assume you have not loaded those yet is that correct?  Again THANKS!!!!! spin

He has up to video 9 uploaded to his YouTube account. http://www.youtube.com/user/bashfulpuppet  I'll also take the liberty of linking his Youtube account to his account here so the YouTube link shows up on his post and in his profile. Smiley

I finished loading all the videos today. You should find 15 of them.  They're all one take wonders with no editing.

I haven't got the pattern ready to sell.  I'll let you know when it's done.

Thanks everybody.  It was so much fun building the dogs and recording the videos.  I have completed the patterns and am offering them to puppets and stuff members for 15.00.  Check out the thread I've started for the patterns for instructions or questions.

I am absolutely stunned.  I guess I never really expected anyone to notice my work but Puppeteers Unite featured my Prairie Dog videos today in their blog.  How cool is that.  Almost makes me feel like I know what I'm doing.  Which I obviously don't because I said it would be a while before I could get the patterns ready and the next day they were done (it was easier to do than I had thought).

http://puppeteersunite.com/?p=1185 heres a link to their write up.
