Does anybody know of any good video tutorials online that teach how to make foam headed puppets. I've tried lots of different books, but they only touch on the subject., i appreciate it.

Billy, Thanks for the Barbara Dewey videos on making a puppet from a stuffed doll. I was just given a big ol' bear doll from Belarus with the idea that I could transform it. (Maybe in July). Now I have those videos saved to my hard drive so that I can have a little inspiration.

They also would have been great for National Lost Sock Day, since she uses remainder socks as a sleeve inside the puppet to slide your hand up into the head.

I have so much stuff that is saved to a back up drive that I have found over the years....I tend to forget about them sometimes. I really need to get them more organized. I have converted animals as well.

Nice and her husband Cicero use a air spray gun to paint there puppets............................. i'll have to go back and look at the pattern about the neck and get back with you. If I remember correctly it is made from a piece of foam and the fabric sleeve is glued to it.

The neck pattern is on page 8.............................. and I did notice there is no pattern for the body sleeve that connect to the opening of the head. I would use one of the body panels as a pattern, increasing it at top and bottom by 1".cut two and sew up each side.
