I use Dap gel contact cement http://www.dap.com/product_details.aspx?BrandID=47&SubcatID=8............. If you can find the water base it is better for you fumes wise. Daryl uses it....................... I have not been able to find it in my home town

It is your on personal preference whether you want to deal with the fumes or not. Just remember to wear a face mask when using toxic glues.

I personally buck the trend of using contact cement and use tacky glue instead. It's flexible, nontoxic, and pretty cheap. It works very well for gluing foam together and if you use dots spread out, it works for gluing fabric to your foam.
