Cut off the excess fabric with some good scissors. Till now not so different, but here's where the hole comes in. In the past I've had the cotton come off after trimming the stretched fabric and you have to start again. Hot gluing the cotton and fabric prevent it from unravelling. If you do this and use a wet tool (I used the handle of a screwdriver) to push it in to the recess, the back of your eye becomes flat!, easier to mount!
