To test the flexible polyurethane foam, I made a mold of the maquette out of plaster, cast it in hydrocal, made a mold off the hydrocal, then used that mold to make this little guy. |
I used the same methods above to make the full size Vert. While the foam was setting, I pushed my hand into the mold (while wearing a latex glove) and put my hand in the position I wanted it while I was puppeteering it. Oh, if you ever use that foam and l |
