I know I am not Central Street Puppets but I think I remember them saying that they where indeed teddy bear eyes that where glued to plastic spoons then covered with fleece and craft foam to create the eyelid and liner.

Sorry - I don't always catch my posts right away. The eyes are actually outside Christmas lights that I picked up wholesale a few years ago. They are a plastic pearl, just perfect for these little guys!
