Fixed rotation for you. Not sure why that happens with some images.

I love the expressive nose and wart and the prominent chin. But when the perfect teeth were added it made him look younger or happier. Maybe his teeth need to be worn down unevenly for all the time her grinds his teeth in court, or at least yellow tinged with age. Also I expected more little wrinkles for a man of his age, and folds in the neck. He must have had a good dentist and used sun screen religiously.

What material or technique would you use to make wrinkles?  I thought about it originally but couldn't figure out how to incorporate them. I like your yellow teeth idea...going to try to drybrush them tomorrow.

Thanks,

Dennis

Since your fabric is already sewn tightly you may have to do things differently. Maybe using darker shade colored lines on fabric might be enough like a makeup artist might do. Maybe you could try darker grey chalk and blend it in and if you did not like it could be washed off. Dark shadows under eyes show age and those awful dark splotches like large freckles usually high on the cheekbones. I found this U tube video with some good ideas. Hope this helps, I did not mean to be so hard on your great puppet, I am sure he will be recognized as old instantly.

He is coming on very nicely!  Yesterday I was making some  potatoes in foam and silicon. I found you can do a certain amount of wrinkling and dimpling by 'quilting'. That is,  sewing stitches through the foam to compress it so it dimples. This quilting works to a degree with cloth, but the wrinkles don't go that deep before you need to do a separate seam/joint. As Snail says, you have already skinned him, but a certain amount of quilting is still possible  with a long needle.

Ha Ha! cute bloomers. Long doll needles will work to sew thru thick layers, that is a good idea. With stitching if you don't like it you can remove it too, if the needle is not too thick to make hole in fabric.

Thanks!  His nose is carved from walmart seat cushion foam. Then covered with fleece.  That's it.

He is going to be an awesome character. He could seem like a loonie type of judge that is always forgetting things, or one that is so brilliant that people have a hard time following him. Depends on how you will play him and flesh out his personality. Great job!
