I don't know if anyone else is reading your blog but I am. Smiley Again I like learning about the story behind things. Sweet little monitor you have there.

Shawn,I keenly follow this blog. I appreciate being advised here that new entries have been posted, as I might miss them otherwise. BBP, I like your style, you write so well, and that graphic designer background beats me every time.A  small foam mat or cushion helps  take the  pain out of concrete for your knees... and is that monitor battery driven? If it is, lucky for you.

Hello everyone, it has been a while since I posted a new video. That being said here is a new one. Hope you will enjoy.

Thank You Shawn! Pleased you like it :D Wasn't sure if posting it every week was the done thing as far as Forum etiquette goes, but thanks to pagestep007 for saying otherwise! Smiley The monitor is pretty cute, and no, unfortunately it isn't battery powered. I have the mother of all extension cables to run it off!
Cheers for reading pagestep007, thank you for the kind words on the style - I think you are probably onto something with the cushions.. dare I risk pinching off the sofa? I think the girlfriend may go mental if I try that haha.

I like the vids4kids characters, the Grandad puppet actually looks like my neighbor so I can't look him in the eye anymore!! I managed to subscribe this time, do you have different channels for the different characters?

Reminders are great! The only suggestion I might have is to start a new topic still in this section but titled something like "Booze Band Blog Updates". Then start posting the notices in that thread. That gives you a bit more control over things since you are then the owner of the thread.

battery power video monitor It seems that primarily the 7" or larger monitors are for in-car video use. Again, you would need the mother of all cords with a cigarette lighter plug on the end, or if you have one of those battery jump-starters with lighter plugs in it, it would actually be fairly mobile.

Those are some really neat monitors listed. Notice some seem to be USB enabled so wonder if  you could plug them into a laptop USB for power? Would be an alternative if you are sending the video from the camera to laptop while recording.  Still would need a long extension cord if filming outside unless  you kept your filming time short. Hey thanks BoozeBandPuppets !!!  That's so funny about your neighbor....lol.
The two channels I use the puppets on are ItsTimmysVlog and Vids4Kidstv.
V4K is more educational and Timmy's Vlog is just entertainment. I never thought that I would be filming puppets in a million years. However, I am so glad I made my first puppet because I love it and I am addicted to making them now. No two puppets that I have made are the same. They just kinda form into a character as I build.
