Hello puppeteers,

After seeing Emily DaCola's video on scarf marionette/string and ball marionette (http://www.expertvillage.com/video/40269_marionettes-scarf-simplicity.htm), and after clearly seeing that i need much practice in marionette control, i decided to make my own. But since i did not have much in my crafting supplies, i decided to go with what i had. And here you have Dot!

Say hello Dot! Aaaahhh, ain't she cute, she is saying hello!

Puppet hug,
SHould

She is cute!  My son made some of those a few years ago and then he modified it for a project he had to do his first year of college.  It seems like a fun design - I maybe should try myself!!  Thanks for sharing!

HA HA HA....great minds really DO think alike.  I just got finished watching her videos two days ago and I love her ideas for practicing manipulation of marionettes.  My mother just came back from a trip to Vietnam and coincidentally brought me back so many silk scarves for only $1 each!!!  I thought it must be fate since I watched this video while she was gone so she had no idea I was wanting some scarves.  I was going to make mine this weekend and add some heads that I created awhile back to them to see how they would look.

Yours turned out great.  How do you enjoy working with it?  I love the simplicity of the design but love the way it can be perform with so much dynamics.

AWESOME JOB!!!

Aloha,
Nikole hug kisser
