Hiya all.
Its been a while since i posted anything so i apologise for that. first let me wish everybody a very merry Christmas.
I was asked to build a Bee Puppet and thought i would try to take some progress snaps for you to see. unfortunately there were times during the build that i got carried away and forgot to snap away so the snaps are a bit jumpy through the build. anyway i just wanted to try and give something back to all those who have help me.
i used the roly pattern for the head and carved the body from foam block. i tried a lot ofnew techniques here and am pleased with the result.
let me know what you guys think.Bee3Bee2Bee4Bee17Bee20Bee21

heres some snaps of the finished bee. hope you like him.Bee25Bee6
i used a plastic milk carton to make the wings. the black feathers on hishead were a late addition to cover up some glue marks that were left from attaching his antenae. but nobody knows that and it looks good anyway!

No fair... all of the good puns are taken! ("Good puns," is that an oxymoron?)

Bravo! Congratulations on the great character design and construction. I love him. And I love the way his little bum sticks out, to provide an anchor for his stinger.
