I was watching one of my favorite PBS television shows " Between the Lions " and noticed that the Mom lion has upper and lower blinking eye lids. Has anyone used this method before.

I have seen that before......I would guess that it is the blinking mechanism upside down using the cable to make them blink at the same time.

But this is a great thing to discuss since it is another detail that is nice to know in case you ever need it.

Oddly enough, I was just thinking about the concept today, with no particular purpose in mind, just kind of thinking about it. I thought there might be a way to adapt eyelash curlers to use as the blinking mechanism.

If you have seen bicycle brakes, you could use a mechanism like that where one cable pulls on an arm that actually pulls two different pads which have a central pivot point, like scissors do?
