Hey crew,

I have just purchased this software called Crazy Talk 5. It is too fun and a very good way to animate your own puppets, family members, celebrities, pets...whatever.

You can make those voiceless puppets come to life!

I will be using this in future applications.

Here is the link to the demo. I promise you this will be fun!

Sonny Sonny Sonny....................... why must you tempt me with these things. I still have not mastered Sony Vegas, Corel Draw, and some other programs I have. It does look like a bunch of fun. I have caricature, it distorts pictures in to cartoon type characters. I can't wait to see what you do with it. thanks for the link.

Here's a demo I did with my Joe Friday Puppet I made. I think this is a great way to really make your puppets come to life.

Very impressive.....How long did it take you from start to finish on making that clip? It looks like a lot of work but it also looks like it could be very easy.

Thanks for sharing it has got me thinking now.....

This has to be the easiest application ever. You record the audio and it adds it manipulates the mouth for you. Only issue I had was that the my puppets head is oddly shaped, and has no eye lids. So trying to make its puppet blink was not easily possible. Well no during the whole 10 mins I tested the app.

Here's my first effort with Crazy Talk 5.
YouTube Video
As Matt said, this has to be one of the easiest applications ever.

I used one jpg of Papaw which the program turned into a live creature. Another jpg for the background. One mp3 file for Papaw's voice, and another mp3 for the background music. I had to make a matt, in order to block out the original background, in essence making a blue screen effect. That was easily done within the program. Matting out the background was easily the most time intensive part of the process. The rest went very quickly.

There should be lots of ways to play with this. Smiley

I'm generally not a fan of "auto-talk" software - the results always looks a little creepy to me - but I have to admit that this looks much, much better than most of what I've seen. Is there a way to manually override the automatic lip sync so you can fine-tune it manually?

Yes you can. It puts movements into tracks (like video editing software) and you can delete them then add in different mouth moments.
