I'm relatively new to puppet-making and only have a few that I've created myself.  Enough, though, that I figured I better figure out a way to make them stand up.  I considered making PVC assemblies but in all honestly, I'm kind of lazy - an instant-gratification kind of guy.  So I thought to myself, "What can I use that's easy to find, ready to use, and affordable?"  The answer hit me like a bullet... A bathroom plunger.  So I took a trip to WalMart and for three bucks each I bought a bunch of plungers.  They work like a charm, are the perfect height, and have a wide enough base that they stand on their own.

It occurs to me that you can't see my Facebook page.  If someone can tell me how to post a pic I'd be happy to do so.  But you can probably imagine it.  Picture a plunger.  On a table.  Jam a puppet on it.  Done.

Great idea.  I haven't tried the plunger, I have PVC stands as well as a metal one I purchased. However, I have been places where I needed more display racks, and used the metal upright paper towel holders (dollar store) or long funnels I found in the auto dept at Wal Mart. Someone said they are for transmission fluid, but I don't have a clue what they are for.  I just know that if you turn them upside down they make a great stand,

I use a coat rack that I bought for $8 at Michael's when I'm building a puppet, I left the middle piece out and placed a tennis ball on the top of it.

Posting an image from the Gallery is pretty easy actually. Use the Gallery Image button below the post box. Click on it then select User Albums from Subalbums and hit Go. Then find your album or anyones you want to insert an image from under Subalbums again. Then simply select the image you want to insert!

Many of us do have facebook accounts so you can post links to your Facebook page but the link you posted seems to be wrong.  In fact there is both a Page and Group for Puppets and Stuff over at FB.
