Hey everyone, on the same website that i found some great foam to use, i found this spray adhesive that i think will work well. But i want to check with you guys first. Have you worked with spray adhesive? If so, do you think it works well or that contact cement or cement glue works better? Thank you!
here is the link by the way: http://www.onlinefabricstore.net/upholstery-supplies/upholstery-adhesive/heavy-duty-spray-adhesive-.htm

A lot of people use 3M products......... 77 being the more aggressive tack and 44 being the less of the two........... but most upholstery spray glue is similar. There is a clear glue for lighter fabrics less tack and one that sprays a golden color for heavier fabric tacking.

It should be good for foam to foam, fabric to foam..... and it is clear. that is about the going rate for a can of spray adhesive.

It will probably work. I use the 3M 74 adhesive. It is orange in color.

Not sure where you are located, but to save money on postage, you can check with Hancock Fabrics, a local upholstery supply or store, OR an auto parts store (headliner adhesive).  I prefer the orange over the clear, but it is personal preference.

The price for 3M is $12-13 can.  However, one can lasts a long time.

If you do get the Clearco brand, let us know how you like it. Smiley  It sounds like it would be pretty much the same as the 3M from the description.

Sorry I am just reposting this from the other topic it is to much to retype again.....lol. Wink

I use the water based contact cement and use a hairdryer to speed up the tacky stage of gluing.  I love it because I can use it anytime of year with windows closed without becoming like Shawn....lol....so far so good....I have made many professional puppets on commission and they are sturdy as anyone using regular contact cement.....just saying....there are haters saying it is not good....I say bull krap.  As well I use the spray adhesive (mainly for covering foam with antron fleece it is 3M  Super 77.  I have never heard about what Ms Puppet is talking about so it peaks my interest.  I would not suggest using it as the common glue for foam since spray gets all over the place the goal is keeping the glue focused on where YOU want it to hold the strongest with foam.

All the best on your puppet making......
