I know we have discussed many uses for doll joints outside of there general purpose which is to joint doll and bear arms and legs. After talking with Julie from Out of the box puppets http://www.outoftheboxpuppets  I was was wondering what other practical uses do you use doll joints in the puppet building process. Don't forget if you need doll joints you can get them at most craft stores. Julie has them in stock and Matt from Puppet mart stocks them as well http://www.puppetmart.com

I guess we all have used the locks as back up for eyes with out lock washers. I also use them to make backs for ping pong eyes. I also have used them to attach large noses. When I'm making puppets for kids I attach most everything with doll joints as a safety measure. I'm interested to see what other uses for them.

Yep I agree with you, Billy that you could attach just about anything. The one thing that came to my mind as I read your post was a Horn on a cow or monster puppet.
