The 3D Training Academy is proud to bring you Jonathan Little of Boston-based puppet company Little’s Creatures who will lead a do it yourself video puppetry and performance technique workshop. Jon has studied with some of the country’s best television puppeteers whose work ranges from Sesame Street to the Dave Chapelle Show. Learn the basics of lip synch, eye focus, camera set up, and more. You also have the opportunity to purchase your very own professionally crafted puppet, by Jon to take home with you!
Jonathan is also an excellent puppet builder whose past work has included television pilots, touring puppeteer with Kaiju Big Battle, and creating original works for his own puppet company.

Intro To Puppetry: 1 Evening Workshop – Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, Time: 6pm-10pm Price: $79

This class will focus on the practice into core principles of creating life in puppets. This is an ideal class for animators, actors and anyone interested in learning puppetry.
Topics & Lessons covered: Breathing, Thought & Focus, Characterization, Rhythm & Timing, Lip Synch, Movement
Students will also learn: Proper body position, Working with a Monitor, Arm Rods & Eye Controls, Entrances & Exits

Discount if you purchase both workshops (Friday, Saturday, Sunday): $299
The puppets you will be working with have been built by Jonathan Little and will be available for purchase for those who attend the workshops.
If you attend one workshop: $100. If you attend both workshops: $80. Puppets only available at the workshops.
