Hello - I'm BACK!  (Read 1069 times)

Hi - it's AmyBeth!  Been gone a WHILE (mildly)

The Basement is full of puppets again.  I'm slowly unfolding my old life and making room for things in the new life.
I don't mind (at all) if you have questions ...

Nutshell is - my 18 year marriage ended ... then there was a new guy, and a move and a marriage and a NEW Happily Ever After.
I have two step children - much older than mine.  However, my new husband is a tad younger than the first.  Only one of 'his' children lives with us.  so FOUR kids in the house - WOW!  Katie thinks I'm pretty cool because of all this puppet stuff and one of the first things we did was have a little black light party.

My kids are great and if one COULD say a divorce was painless - - this one came close.  After a 3rd trip to Iraq by my ex-husband, the children were used to him being gone and initially he "left" when Margaret was 6 months old.  She just turned 8 - - so they have adjusted QUITE well to having a new family and a step-Father who is around a lot and loves to read with them and help with school (NEW hubby is a Scientist - Chemist - and great with kids).

With me so far?!

My fitness career has exploded and ZUMBA is all the rage - - so having FUN with THAT is an understatement.

Puppets and scrapbooking took a BACK BURNER for a while ... and I'm happy to say a new part of me opening again is refreshing.

Thanks for your patience and grace ...

much love

AB

Billy!!! Big Hugs to ya'!
LJ - the puppets I "make" are black light and usually quick simple things to go with stories or themes.  I have a case full of more detailed puppets and those pictures are already on here, somewhere!
Angle & Sonny - - Thanks for the warm hands!  Wink
Shawn - always the best and thanks for the help!

oops - and I am licensed for all Zumba "specialties" EXCEPT ZIC (Zumba in the circuit/curves) and Zumbatomic (kids zumba).  Adding two more specialties in July when I go to Orlando for the "convention".

I'm very pleased to meet you on your return to P&S Amybeth! It sounds like your road through life hasn't always been smooth but you've arrived at a better destination and I'm glad for that. I look forward to sharing more puppetry and life in general!

Here is the link to the old images that amybeth had uploaded: http://puppetsandstuff.com/community/index.php?action=gallery&g2_itemId=1965

@amybeth - Once you visit the new Gallery it should prompt you for your password and then create an account within the Gallery system for you. I think it also creates the album for you.  Once you have done that I can assign these older images you uploaded to your Gallery account and then move them into your new album! I wish there is a way it could be more automatic then even that but they are actually two different programs that are connected or bridged together.

Cool - thanks for all the work - the gallery looks fine - I don't see any reason to move it around?  Maybe I don't understand, but all seems okay to me Smiley

If I go ahead and set it up under your own User Album then a small camera shows in your mini profile next to each of your post and folks can easily get to your images when you mention them. Smiley

Welcome Amybeth -  a good friend of mine in CA is certified in Zumba too. She is really into it, and I am sure will be at the convention this year.

Isn't it amazing how puppets always seem to draw you back? You just cannot get away from them.

Those pictures are impressing. Blacklight is so interesting, but I guess one has to know how to do it...
