I just used the Pages program on my Mac, got the toxic waste logo from the net and used Campbell's soup as my model (product association is a key element of effective logo design).  I made a few in different sizes, printed them out and checked to see which one best fit the can, then made any minor adjustments to make it fit properly.  After that, I threw it on a memory stick, went down to the local indie copy place (always use local small business over national big business!) and printed a half dozen of them in colour on slightly glossy paper, took them home, cut them out and slapped them on the empty cans.  Looks like the real deal.

For the beans themselves, I used 3D fabric paint, dribbled it down the side, glued a few dried pinto beans in place, painted them and bing, bang, boom -- a sloppy-looking mostly empty can of 1950s era Crumbum's Irradiated Baked Beans.

@ Rikka:  Thank you.  Can you write a letter to my wife stating as such?  She's mad because I opened the cans and put the contents in the fridge.  We now have a week's supply of string beans ready to go at a moment's notice.  I thought I was helping.  Kinda.  OK, not really.

Ha ha ha . Your wife sounds like mine...I have our  laundry, wall to wall with drying paper mache rock faces...that doesn't go down too well... and a while back  we had scrambles egges for morning coffee break to use some of the eggs I cracked to get the perfect cracking egg  shot...

Seems to be not too bad if both members of a marriage are a bit cracked (I'm into dolls, puppets, my husband's into films.) Doesn't do much for or visitors, I am afraid. Maybe worst was when we shaved our dog for the summer. (She is half Shi-Tzu, so there is an aweful amount of hair!). The Bathtub was pretty much covered. So he got the fake blood out "just to see what that looks like" (quite splattery...) an we took a few pics. Then the door bell rang (I didn_t have the time to clean up) and a friend came in. We had a nice evening- until he had to use the bathroom...

Rikka you kill me! Well, not REALLY...I mean I'm just speaking figuratively. After that blood bath one can't be too careful!

It was only a fake blood bath, though... Wink
I guess all of us who are... let's say living slightly off the ordinary have some stories about two colliding worlds... Wink

Thank you.  It wasn't east to get it in there.  We ended up having to affix velcro to his hand and the gun in the palm and on his fingers.
