Ladies and gentlemen I am proud to present the official It Came from Uranus movie poster.

Well, cameras finally began to roll today and it was a relatively pain-free day of filmmaking (aside from the sore shoulders).  We managed to get a key scene in the can and our first location is already wrapped.  Following are a few pics of the set, the puppets and the actors.

I wish my workshop was that tidy!

That's actually my basement rec room.  We just moved everything out of the way to set up the set.  My wife is a very patient woman, since we took over the basement and she took the kids out for the day to give us quiet work space.

But it is nice having that much space available.

Congrats on your start of filming! It is always so much fun to watch the progression of a project.

Yes, congratulations on your first day of shooting! I look forward to hearing all about the production as it progresses. Great good luck on the shoot.

Well, our first scene is shot and 99% edited.  Just a bit of audio fine-tuning.  The road ahead is still long though and the end is not yet in sight.  But so far I have no complaints.  If the rest of the shoot and editing goes this well, we're going to have something special here.

Great! Now I feel sort of obligated to offer up some sort of mockery but currently lack the appropriate level of wit. I guess I'll just have to do the same boring old complimentary stuff. Great work!
