Any ideas of where I can buy or rent a life-size T-REX costume or puppet?  I am developing  a stage show in the spirit of "Night a the Museum" and want to include the iconic T-REX.  I'd be interested in either a skeleton OR a "skinned" T-REX.  Weird, huh?

Thinking about a T-Rex skeleton puppet...large size, manipulated by puppeteer inside (wearing black).  Any suggestions of puppet makers that could handle something like this?

I think it's an awesome idea. I'd be interested in talking about the project. PM me

Ohhh!  Very nice!  Tell us more!  We want to know how you did it.

BTW: This was originally posted in 2009 so I doubt the original poster will come back and see this.  I am glad that you evidently found us though because of this post. Smiley

You can also check with Mascot builders.  This is the sort of thing they do.

As do I Rikka! That is one thing that Facebook got right. Let's hope they don't mess with that as they do have a tendency to be constantly "tweaking" things.

oh thanks you for the nice comment. its quite complicated to build it and explain how i made it, small mistakes on alignment of universal joints, it will not move right at all.also even you have a kilo of dinosaur head danggling 1.2 meters away from you body it will cost you so much weight.also skin options is so important you cant use so much rubber latex coz its so heavy, also the more detail you add the more weight will add up too.the best way to make it? buy one costume from me and open it and copy it... hehehe
