I don't think my dolls are very manga faced (even though there are quite a few mangas and animes I enjoy- I might be getting there, someday). It is more the way the dolls are build:

But it is really hard to form those joints, I am just starting to get satisfied, you need quite a bit of training. I think I thrashed 4 dolls yet and didn't care too much about finishing the fifth (I will, eventually). Now I am on my 6th BJD and she finally starts to look okay. But I really have to redo hands and lower arms (her hands are WAY to big and I don't like the wrists)- I like doing hands least of all! I think I will at least do 4-5 more before I try to move them. And I need some aluminium tubes for the elastics. Right now I put in brass tubes that I pull out again- this slows down the process too much for my liking.
