Have you ever thought about using a teleprompter, like they use on television and some stage shows? You know, the kind where the script scrolls by, so the performer can read his part. I was reading a blog that had one listed on it, as I was reading the website it referred to, and seeing the price. I thought that it sounded like a web page, with auto scroll, so the words would scroll down the page. So a quick Google search of the web and I found a free teleprompter that runs on Windows and I think it does everything the paid one did, plus more. Here's the site: http://proverbteleprompter.codeplex.com/, hopefully other performers can use it.

I may eventually get around to shooting some video and that COULD be a useful tool. Thanks for the tip!

Cool! Always nice to find free software. Smiley  You'll have to let us know how it works.

http://www.easyprompter.com/portable.php is another teleprompter I found. This one isn't as loaded as the first one, however, this one will run in a browser and it even claims it can be run on smart phones and tablets. I have tested it in Firefox, Opera, IE9, Google Chrome, and Safari, and it does work with all of them. The page describes how to save the script and use it on any device, including carrying it on a USB thumb drive. Although it doesn't give any specifics, you can open it in a HTML editor if you want to edit some of the code to more suit your needs. It doesn't have any timers on it like the proverbprompter does. I know the proverbprompter will let you choose from several rich text documents you have on you computer, I'm not sure the easyprompter can do that.
