I've finally gotten around to uploading some of my puppets to my gallery here:

Some I only took photos of yesterday.

Very nice. Looks like someone got a trip to the beach out of the photo shoot. Smiley

Thank you Shawn and Billy!

Haha! No... I actually did a blog post about it. I happened to be in an area where I was close to a large park running along part of the Yarra River (it cuts through a lot of inner-city Melbourne) and decided while I was there to get some shots. I was trying to find a similar spot to where I took the other half of the photos - Atlanta, Georgia! - which is why it's taken me so long to take the rest.

The truth is I was standing on a very small rocky section of the river bank. The rest was steep cliff, and I can tell you, my spot was not easy to get to. I had hoped to walk all the way to an actual waterfall on the river, but after walking 20 minutes in the hot sun (and only halfway at that) I decided to try right where I was. Probably not the best idea in the world.

Suffice to say it was less enjoyable than going to the beach. Wink

Still worth it for the quality of the shots.

PS. I'll get to tell you all about what I did in the morning before the shoot, in a month or so as well. It was also puppetry related!

Thanks Lizzie!  I'll make sure to bring them with me. I have quite a few actually, leftover from my stock. They look better with that amazing natural sunlight!

You can really have fun with those. Translate something into Korean, Chinese, Russian and back. It'll really crack you up. Sometimes those translators have their trouble with German grammar, that's also funny but I'd have a hard time translating those.

Yeah grammar is really bad with those translators. A lot of time I still can't understand what's been said.

But it is so good to sometimes laugh your head off. The difference between the computerized perfection and the human art, beauty and irrationability of language is very funny at times... Wink
