HaHa, at least one of the Elmo puppets is built in a similar way, for costume changes...in "Being Elmo" I remember seeing an armless Elmo in one of the scenes at the workshop...

Well, I dont have a cool lab like Dr Megan, but I had the same reaction. I think I like this method better than doll joints.

I've seen that idea somewhere before but I've never tried it. Might have been Daryl had a video or mentioned it somewhere. Probably because he's covered nearly EVERYTHING! Haven't really had the need for that method yet myself.

Hey all just thought I would pop in and say "HI!"....I know it has been a long time since I have stopped in...things are looking good and I noticed someone mentioned my video on putting in those snaps...it is such a great thing to have on a puppet as much as you may say I won't need it once you have it you are like how did I have a puppet without it...anyways...here is the video if you would like to see how to do it....I have done it to many puppets and they are still doing great with this method....well I will try to pop on a bit more and try to put my imput but I have been busy behind the scenes with some stuff and I will be posting soon a video with one of my latest Halloween puppets for some fun...<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?xdu2d4Etqg8" target="youtube">YouTube Video</a>

Hey Daryl! Always good to hear from you.  I'll have to keep an eye out for the new Halloween puppet!

Glad to be back Shawn!! I am slowly getting through the past posts and commenting when I can. Nice to see all the activity going on in this site...lots of puppets being performed and made!!

Ah, thanks Daryl. I KNEW I'd seen a video you'd done on that. Great to see you bouncing round the forum again!

I have only watched the first video yet, so maybe you updated the name of the epoxy in a later one, but I don't think plummets putty is correct.  Plummets putty is what you put under a faucet to create a water tight seal, but it is not a glue like adhesive.

Looking good so far. Hope I can find a little more time to watch the rest.
