Recently finished a video parodying Kony 2012 and hipster mentality.

Nice. I really think I missed some critical points, though...

Thanks. I'm curious, in what sense were they missed?

Terrance,
Could be that Rikka like me was not familiar with Kony 2012.  Kony monster was a bit hard for me to understand at times so that may be the issue also. Rikka's first language is not English.

I think it is pretty good. Again it was hard for me to understand Kony Monster at times.  I think part of that is the quality of sound. I don't have the greatest speakers on my computer right now so sound is a bit muddled at times. I am not sure about the Julay reference on the wall.  Is that just because I am too old?  Smiley

Ah, thanks. That makes more sense now.

The Julay reference is to Christian Weston Chandler, a manchild who made a series of ridiculous choices/actions online and as such became something of a celebrity among internet troll culture.

Shawn's right: I didn't get all the sentences because it was very fast. Also, I didn't get all references. I think there were more but the only one I could really place was the blood diamond "environment"...

I think it was really well produced visually, and the song was well done and clever. The only part that let you down a little was the 'live' audio and some abrupt audio changes, which detracted from the otherwise  great quality. You have great talent. Try getting your mics closer to the puppeteers so you get a cleaner and more consistant audio.  If you are using your onboard camera mic, try recording to  something else like a laptop as well, and then replace the camera mic audio in post. I  would like to see  you  do  more. let us know when you do!

Thanks for the feedback folks. I reckon I can always take extra steps to improve my work. I'll come back from time to time to learn or share something.

By the way, who did all the  backdrop painting? I really liked the style.

Okay, as far as content, I'm clueless. Smiley But I really liked the puppets and the style/aesthetic!
