Having done a latex head puppet with fleece arms, I needed to find a better method to make arms.  Again, instead of making a huge, long post, I'll just point to my blog.  I also put them in my gallery here.  This is how they come out:

Like how you did the hands. Different approach then normal.

Helps when you have to make it up yourself!  The guy that was teaching me tours.  He was only in town a short time.  He saw the zombie I posted and challenged me to sculpt the arms.  Hoping to have the puppet these arms go to done within a week because I'm going to St. Louis to see him perform and want to take it as a thank you gift.

Man I love the plastic hose in the wrist, I am going to try that.
