I sculpted the dragon in clay first then made a latex skin and now I'm trying to rig it to move.
Here's the latest video:

Oh man, I want to hug him. Seriously. What setting is he going to be used in? Held in someone's arms? On a stage?

Hi Pagestep007, I've got the wire traveling down the hoses into each limb, they're cut a different spots and when you pull on them you can get movement.

Hi Cantata, he'll be used in all sorts of situations for our online fantasy series Spellfury.

Ohhh... I like your method and design for this! Now if you put a hinge between the two not only could they move forward and back (might be up and down once mounted) but also flap up and down (forward and back once mounted).  Hopefully you get what I mean. Smiley

BTW  Brass fastner or brass paper brads is what I've always called them.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brass_fastener

That's a really  intelligent design! Full marks! It seems to work really well. I was just wondering  how the skin-wing membrane will go on it. Let us know how you get on.

Great Idea Shawn, I'll have to try the hinge thing out, thanks! Brass Fastener, I'll have to remember that Smiley
