Sara
Are you doing a performance for entertainment, or are you doing a kids crusade?  The prices vary a lot depending on what you are doing.
We do not charge, (unless we are doing a puppet making workshop) because this is a ministry for us. We determined from the start that we would accept offerings and the Lord would take care of us. If asked, we tell them they should consider us the same way they consider an evangelist and pay accordingly.  We do crusades, doing puppets along with all the other stuff we do.

Where I live, a reasonable price is 50 bucks for a half hour show and 80 for an hour show. People seem to like that rate

Actually, as a native CA, living in TX some things are not more expensive.  Their property taxes are lower, some groceries are way cheaper, etc.

The puppet shows, magic shows, etc., in my area are $200 and up for 1/2 hour (and that is the least expensive, for a birthday party). For a team the cost starts at around $500 and goes up from there.

Our standard rate for a 75 minute long party is €180.00 (about $260.00). That includes a magic show, 30 minute puppet show and disco. Can be discounted down to €150 or €130 if they drop one of the modules.
Corporates start at €240.00 (about $350.00) for the same show.

The business is a franchise so we have to pay 30% commission for all sales.
