Some how I missed all the responses to my original question.  I still have been unable to locate those exact eyes.  Mercury does not carry them either.

I wonder if miss puppet had any luck recreating them. I think she might be correct. I think I will go by hobby lobby tonight and pick up a pair of the frog eyes, and see how close I get after modding them.

The only way to reproduce them would to buy the frog eyes below and replace the frog pupils with your cut irises. If you could counter sink a opening in the 450mm domes like they do the ballistic foam balls in the foam book that might work.

Yeah the frog eyes wont work. I have drilled into the 450's before and inserted a cut iris, but they still do not quite look like the eyes we are after. I will say that is very very close. The mystery continues....

I came up with a fairly close one, but not the one in the picture. Does anyone know how to contact Michele?  She was on the yahoo group: christpup@yahoo.com

For quite realistic glass eyes you might want to give this site a look: http://www.husten-augen.de/
they do present their shop in english, too, but I have no idea how they handle international/ overseas shipment (but I guess that's in the business condition page of the site).
What I do know: these eyes are brilliant, handmade and quite inexpensive, compaired to the work that went into them. Of course they are not fit for kids, being made out of glass.

Rikka,
On the ANREISE page the translation they are useing does not make sense to me. They translated ANREISE  as Arrive which does not help me understand what the page is about.  Do you know what that page is about or what they are trying to say?

Thanks for sharing the link!
