I'm curious as to why you add the foam and elastic?  I usually just do one or the other.  Haven't done both.  But I'm open to learning how other do things.

Do any of you cover your elastic with fabric for comfort or do you leave it uncovered.

I'll try to take some pics on the next one I do, the foam is nothing more than for comfort under my fingers in a sock puppet.

I used regular fleece on the last puppet I made but next time I will cover the elastic strap with some 4-way stretch spandex so the elastic can have a little more give. Would love to see some pictures.

Not a problem, I'll try to remember to take some pics of the next one in production...
