in the same way, placing a percentage less than 100% you can get a smaller puppet pattern than usual, as I did it for the birthday of a friend of my daughter, at 80%, ideal for a little hand of a four-year .

Printing to tabloid size worked well too. Just fit to page and print you get 129%. I'm fortunate enough to have copiers at work that you can print to.

Great video Philip. While I like that I have access to a printer and copier it is great to have the math and basics behind upsizeing a pattern.  There is also so other great info in the video. For some reason my sound is not working but I can see that you show both the process of averaging out the pattern taken from a model and covering a puppet in fabric and then turning it into a pattern for later use. Amazing what you can get from pictures. Hopefully I can figure out what is up with my sound so I can get the commentary along with the video.
