Holger's Kochsendung! (Deutsch Project for my class) Posted by Harley on Jan 01, 2019
So, I did a thing...I decided to make a cooking show project for German class. Except, what makes my project special is that I did it with puppets. It's a little interesting. It was my first time really working with monitors, so that was an altogether new experience. We also had a Swedish Chef-type set-up, where my friend did the hands and I did the mouth for all of the shots where he has both hands. However, in the single hand shots, I did the hand. I hope you can give me critique, however! Tell me what you think in any aspects, because I might do another one of these!

Good job. The video and sound quality are great - and also your German is easy to understand.

Thank you! What are your opinions of my puppetry? Is it alright?

Not bad. Try to work on three things. Keeping the puppet level. Eye focus, he tends to look up instead of into camera at times, and slow things down just a bit. The moments of stillness are as important as moveing.
