I wanted to build an animatronic bird puppet for Halloween - unfortunately, some of the parts did arrive too late, so I could not finish it in time. 
The idea was to build a regular puppet head and a puppet-stand that works as a remote-controlled hand.

I used one of my head models that I had originally designed to be a costume head:




For the remote-controlled hand, I designed some 3d-printed parts that can be attached to servo motors (for robotic application - they already come with the aluminum brackets).


A cheap rc remote is used to control the servo motors.
