Hi Elly,
Where do you check in yahoo360 to see how many hits you have? I would like to check my own stats. Thanks!

Does anyone know how to add a visits counter to a website? I have mine almost finished now and would like to know if it gets hits. I just need to add tags (when I have worked out how to do it). I have also had a lovely boost from a friend, http://willowhouse.typepad.com.
She makes beautiful peg dolls, well worth a look.

You might want to give Site Meter a try. I used to use it all the time. The basic version is free and you simply have to add some HTML to your site for it to work. They give pretty good instructions on the site.

I just went to go see who I was using for my site counter, but I guess I don't have one.... I USED to have one until my site was updated about two years ago.
I checked out the site that Shawn suggested and it looks pretty cool (and simple to use) ... I might have to add one to mine too!

But the thing that surprises me is the number of hits...I'm over 21,000 hits. I get more than 1,000 hits a month now. No one ever comments and I can't help but wonder where are all these hits coming from?
I've visited a few times in the past, Elly - and enjoyed it very much.

Billy,
thanks for the encouragement and kind words. I'll try to be around here more often!
Newmodeller, i use www.feedburner.com to track my site. it's completely free and pretty simple to use (and a lot of features (like email subscriptions, etc) if you really want to get into it), but even a non-technical type of person like me can get it after reading the instructions. Hope it helps!
Cheers!

Thanks Eric,
I am looking for one that is easy for non-techie to use.
I love your site by the way, especially the picture of you and the crew!

I have a very basic website started. My hubby got me started with a template and now I can go in and change things. I hope to have a complete page with more of my puppets in a couple of weeks. Stop by and check it out. If you do could you send me an email just to say you saw the site. Thanks in advance.
