Billy, thanks for the welcome. I think I joined ages ago but have only recently posted - unless the forum had a rehaul (it certainly looks like it) and my username transferred, then I most certainly didnt post or get welcomed! Sorry everyone! :-p

Jay, thanks for the heads up! More seasme to be honest, more like the concept art I created above would be what I'm looking for but maybe with a hint of 'Smile Time's Angel puppet thrown in - jeez you should have seen my drawn artwork, practically ripped off the Angel puppet.

*assumes everyone knows what he's on about when he mentions the Angel 'Smile Time' puppet...*

~David.

ps. sorry Spoon! I love K9 thats why he makes an appearance in my audio series, but his inclusion was for character development reasons (not him, the main companion :p)

I definitely know what you mean. A good friend has one of the Angel replicas. Tell you what, for another Who-vian If that is your concept art i could try and come up with a pattern if you like. You being in the UK I could make it actual size and you could download it and print it. What program's do you have. PhotoShop? Illustrator??

That sounds like a good idea. My ambition is to get what films I want to do done this year. So, yes, does the festival have a website?
Re: DOCTOR WHO with Puppets Posted by wyohming on Feb 05, 2008
Thats a pretty good ambition!

Its not advertised yet but will be advertised here when its a bit closer the time... highly recommended!

There is a puppet festival on in Washington this year but I don't think I'm gonna make that one

Hey, thanks for the info Wyoh.

As for those of you who have been interested in this project, thanks, we need all the support we can get!

If anyone is interested I'd certainly need some help with the script! I'd like to keep my Doctor-turns-himself-into-a-puppet-on-purpose and really try and get a PLOT out of this video, incorporating the 2nd Doctor (Patrick Troughton) in puppet form telling my Doctor he's gotta go back to normal before its too late! I have a voice artist who does a brilliant impression of the late Pat Troughton (just hope this is in good taste of course)

AND a bigger special thanks to Jay aka DrPuppet who has been going through a rough time recently and I can't thank him enough for his encouragement and dedication to this project even though it hasn't really started yet! My love to you mate.

All the best,

David.

Just looking at your TARDIS build again Jay and noticed... its not actually a CGI TARDIS is it? Its actually real? is it full size? () is it a scale model?
