LOL! Am I reading the view count on this thread right? 10,555?? Wow. And I bet most viewers came and left very quickly when it wasnt about Jay's films :D haha

Well... I must say, this project has been embarrassingly neglected, not only have I made it impossible for myself to get motivated for this, I've had to sell my camcorder so I couldn't film anything if I wanted too!

I'm sure most of you are getting annoyed that this thread seems to be a collected posting of my inability to even start this project past a premise or a few lines of script, but I can assure you that this year that will change.

My next plan is to carry on with the Chicken puppets and see if that sparks a completed script.

We'll be here when you get it together!  Don't be a stranger.

Thanks Shawn, unfortunately yet another year passed without me touching this thread or doing anything with this project - instead, other projects were born. I guess the creativeness has to go somewhere

This sounds like such an epic idea!!!! I have too keep up with this :D
Re: DOCTOR WHO with Puppets Posted by David on Jan 01, 2014
Gosh, 2014! How did we get here after so many years since spilling the proverbial beans on this idea!! It looks like spouting words online seems to doom most projects, including my own! I thought I had learnt from others mistakes!

Of course with the passage of time, others have taken the initiative and done the same thing. The awesome Jay, aka DrPuppet, has produced a few films with the David Tennant Doctor in puppet form. There is Doctor Puppet the stopmotion series and then another has used ventriloquist dummies to depict the Matt Smith Doctor and Amy Pond. And there may be others I haven't discovered yet.

Yet again another year has passed and this project has only been the smallest of ideas in the back of my mind, not forgotten but a waiting film that has yet to grow the legs it needs.

Thanks for those who keep popping by and seeing my dismal progress, it'll happen one day

Now you tell me... like I don't already have too much to do, I'm going to have to go find this series!

Will have to find the one with Pond and the Doctor.  Karen Gillian will be at the next Comic Con I am attending, can't wait for the photo op with Amy Pond!

As for putting projects to the side, I think that is something everyone is familiar with.  I know I hope to step up my projects this year.  Regardless, can't wait to see your take on the Doctor when it comes!
