mine has not worked out cos im using foam its got no wait to it im now thinking that the only way of doing it would be to use a small type of litter picker and operate the mouth the only problem i have with that is that the puppets on strings

What about adding some weight to the lower mouth part to help it open and close on it's own?
I am a little confused about what you are asking......but if it is a weight problem then it seems to be easy to solve.
Others may have suggestions as well who make marionette's with moving mouths.

i done it i used lego out of all things i will post photos later. the mouth is weighted by 20 two pence's good old English money and the mouth is operated by a stick that is connected to the lego it works perfectly.
