Is the mouth hinged in any way ? I can't tell by the photo. these guys have kind of evolved evolution style. All you need is one hatching from a egg and you'll have a children book.

Great work by yourself......and thanks for taking pictures of the process I know that many will benefit from these pictures now or in the future.......these puppets are turning into some amazing work.

After saving all the wonderful photos, I did not realize they were so many.................... These would make a great table top book. I did notice this and it may require you to start a new thread. Now that we have seen your artful side of building, is it possible to see how you costume these magnificent creatures. Costuming is very important in finishing the work of a artist. I don't know about the others but I'm very curious to see pictures of you designing and costuming a marionette. This would also complete my folder of your work.

Billy: the costuming will start next week, I hope, and yes, I will post pictures of it.

Daryl: me and my whife will start making a script for a new play were the dragons and the other puppets I've made will be part of it. When it's finished I will post a video of it.

Miguel: thx, I also like it that he moves his mouth. He's realy comming alive this way.

been working on the little dragon - had to design a different controll for the speaking one - he's now on strings, just have to make his wings. Here some pics.
