Hallo puppetfans,
it's been a long time since I have been on P&S and this because the work at school and the perfomences we had with the group. I hope I will be able to be here more often from now on.
I found some time to coninue the building of my puppets. Also I started to make a soldier and a cat. Here are some pics.

Great work as always!
I was looking at the pictures on the front page of your site http://www.draadpoppentheater.be and I really like the giant puppet. Wish there was a larger photo of him. Can you tell us more about what he was for?

You are a GIANT! Great. Didn't even notice that I went through 21 pages in about an hour and a half.
(I have to admit that even though I understand plattdüütsch, dutch is hard on me, readwise (if I heard it, it would be worse, I guess, since I can take more time reading than listening)- but for something that wonderful)

Great work as always!Mid december 2010 we organised a winterpuppetfestival with our group. We invited many puppeteers from all over Europe: Altrego, from Germany, Tineola with Michaela Bartonova, from Prague and many more. It was great fun to meet them all in our theatre. The Big guy: Vulkao, is from Lille- France. The group is Le fil a la patte and they give streetacts( as you can see.. it was snowing at that time and the act was full of risks) There site is: http://lefilalapatte.free.fr/

It did remind me of the story of the giants in Berlin:
They were great, too, even though I only saw it on TV

Hi puppeteers,
the cat is ready... but not yet painted.
I've started another marionette: a balerina. Here some pics of the first steps. My hand show many blisters, but it seems it's normal for a puppetmaker .

What a blessed talent you have with wood.
My Stepfather did many carvings and left me his tool.
I have never started carvings but soon will.
Keep us posted on the progress please.
Thanks,
Sonny

Thx Rikka and Sonny, well Sonny, I can't wait to see your creations. It's a lot of fun working with wood, some time ago I was sculping with clay. Here I could add or remove clay when it's wasn't good. When I have carved too much wood away... I'm in trouble :'(.
