I am so admiring of this kind of talent. The sculpturing and painting are just wonderful. I hope there will be some video showing these in action.

I have not posted here to much............................ but have followed it closely. I'm at awe of your work and love the realism of your characters. I would love to see the show when it is ready. Thank you so much for sharing this with us............... it is so exciting.

Thx Billy for these encouraging words! I promise to post a video of the movements of the puppets.
The show will not be for the comming year because we are working on a new play that we are bringing out on februari '09. You will find details on our website.

Hallo puppetfriends,

here some pictures of the development of the dragon. I made the body of wood, the neck and tail are made of wooden rings. The legs and wings will follow.

Wow that is very cool!  Looking forward to seeing more of him.  When you do this sort of thing are you already thinking of where to attach strings and how to control him or will that come after the character is complete?  Very interesting.

Are the wooden rings strung onto a rope for the neck and tail?  I think that is what it looks like but wanted to ask.  I really do like the look you are ending up with on your dragon.

I love that dragon.....very detailed and it looks like you are doing some great planning.
