I think that this would fill a need in the market.  I like the Armslength Production kit, perhaps you could do something like their's but less expensive.  Their kit includes everything needed to make one puppet.  The pieces are also precut (no pattern included), but if you selling at a lower price range than you could do away with precut pieces by including a pattern.

Ok I've got to do some last minute shopping and some final things to get together before the kits will be available for sale.

(1) Complete beginners pattern
(1) yard of 12oz. Antron fleece
(1) dye pack ( choice of color to dye one yard)
(1) jar of contact cement with applicator brush, protective mask, pair of protective gloves.
(1) mouth plate kit
(2) feet of foam (1/2"x54"x118")
(1) eye kit (male) or (female)... 450mm or 650mm domed with acessories.
(1)  fabric for body liner.
(1) bag of poly fill
(1) skein of yarn for hair ( choice of color)

This kit will be $79.00................... upgrades will be available such as
Deluxe kit add $20 ( includes glue gun,spray glue, and sewing kit)

Mouth plate assembly kits.... $4.00 each ( 1.)Fabric lined foam straps,(2.) Fabric lined tubes, or (3.) Fabric covered elastic with thumb grip)
chandelle boas.... $5.00 each
marabou boas.... $5.00 each
limited supply of fur for hair........... will list it as it comes avalable.

I am working on some neat eye kits using ping pong balls which will only be $1.00 a pair.

I will also have later some hand painted crystal acrylic eyes. So keep in touch as I get everything in order.

Like I said I have some finishing things to take care of before these will be ready.

Wow that is a full "newbie" kit with everything included and such a great price.  I am very impress with this kit and will certainly direct people to your kits when they are ready.

Billy, Did you check into shipping the contact cement and spray glue? Is there going to be a problem with these items either not being allowed in the mail or costing extra to ship?

I just wanted to make something available to those just starting out in puppetry. I also tried my best to be careful  by picking out suppliers with the lowest cost in order to keep the price at a minimum. I hope the price seems fair enough to folks. The price quoted is just enough to be able to restock supplys and keep helping others, which has been my primary goal since day one. This kit is designed for personal use only and is not intended for resell. What you do with your finished puppet however is your own business. You can use the pattern I have designed or use a pattern of your choice. Like I said I'm finishing up with some details and hope to have it ready in November.
