Billy, Did you check into shipping the contact cement and spray glue? Is there going to be a problem with these items either not being allowed in the mail or costing extra to ship?

I will double check but the last time I asked you just have to notify the postal carrier so they can put a label on it verifying the contents of the package. I have ordered glue from other suppliers and nothing was on the box when it arrived, but I will make sure and that everything is alright with the packaging and it is safe before shipping. Thank You for bringing that to my attention. If anyone else has suggestions please don't hesitate to mention them.

If I knew about your thread earlier at all, I wouldn't look for all those materials alone (as I'm newbie) and just buy your great kit, Billy.

Refering to the contact cement you mentioned - I'm still thinking about it (same as of a spray glue and hot glue gun) - I've been looking for some kinds of glues in Poland but I'm not sure they would be good because there is nobody who has used them earlier and could tell me they work well or not (as there is nobody from Poland here). I can try those ones and if they wouldn't be enough good for my puppet, could I order your "glue kit" with glues usually used by puppeteers in the USA (so tested ones...)? Or maybe I'll not give them a try and just buy them at once... (and time for the test will come another time)? Huh.

Mr. Fuller, congratulation (You got the goal). Its looks a great package, even for (I guess, I'm new in this) that price (More, because personally I know you are a good teacher in this field), your job must be the same as you teach (Just seen the blue puppet avatar before, I could figured out).
Hopefully I could get the package in the near future

I would have no problem shipping a glue kit to you, are helping you with supplies. You may want to check with any restrictions that your postal service would have at the point of customs. I would hate to ship this to you and have customs hold it or destroy it due to technicalities. I could not be responsible for refunds in this case. I'm sorry I thought you had read this thread.................   I should have bumped it up a couple of times to keep it noticed.

Here is the problem I have with shipping internationally.........
(1) It is expensive............. they will only ship packages Priority mail from the US as I was told by my postal carrier.
(2) Countries have different rules and exceptions as to what products Customs will allow into that particular country. So you have to research each country.
(3) It is expensive for return postage on a package if it does not pass Customs............... Packages are due to inspection by Customs............... so I can not be responsible if your package is damaged.

I just sent a package to Brazil and the postage cost more than the product was worth. You have to keep in mind the tax that each country charges to.
The international shipping is something I'm still looking in to but if it is possible I am willing to help anyone that is interested in puppetry here or abroad.

The kit looks good.  Just a thought....maybe you could offer a beginner kit without the glues.  This way someone can add on another puppet (if they already have your kit or want to make a 2nd puppet).  I know when I buy online, because of shipping, I usually buy more then one item. If I was making a beginner puppet I would buy 2-3) or if they have all the glues they can just get the fabric, pattern, etc.  I like the idea of the add-ons.  This way people can spend what they want.

I will be adding add on kits as time goes on and the demand for certain items are requested. I will have all the items available for separate purchase in addition to the kit.
For example if you just needed one Beginners kit, two yards of Antron and Two mouth kits and two eye kits ....... these will be options that I will be adding. You can buy additional items separate from the kit as well.

There was no problem with shipping dyes to me, but dyes, although they're chemicals as well, weren't glues which could be considered as a completely different kind of 'dangerous' materials, right. I'd have to look around how does it look in Poland.

So maybe I'll look deeper for glues in my country first. There would be no problem to get a hot glue gun and we've got a lot of upholstery wholesalers and retailers in here too, so for sure they should have something good for gluing the foam as well... I'd be more concerned about a glue that gluing the fleece to the foam - but I hope there will be no problem to get one (spray glue works well, am I right?).
If I will not be able to find anything appropriate and I found out there are no restrictions with sending/receiving stuff like glues to Poland, I'll let you know.
Obviously you would not bear any responsibility if the glues haven't been delivered of any reasons. Anything I'd decide to do, I'll do on my own risk.

What about arm rods?  Gotta have arm rod selections!   That is one thing that I see lacking in most kits that I have seen in the past.  I did come across at one point in my early searching a great company that offered finished arm rods but then I lost that link.  I had to come up with my own using wooden dowels and wooden balls for the handle.  Just thought that perhaps you could sell a different array of types of rods for people.  I know that arm rods are my worse enemy.  I HATE MAKING THEM and would definitely be interested in finding a supplier for this....but you'll have to ship to Singapore now...HA HA HA.
