Oh my goodness.............. great balls of fire. I'm in the United States, however I can not work there I will certainly plan on attending or visiting it.
Thanks Na.................... I would have never noticed this. I bet they are going to have a lot of job applicants. That is a big toy store.

Is that a stock picture Puppeteers Unite have used? Because I've checked out F.A.O Schwarz's other puppets products and they aren't terribly impressive and don't match the eyes that are in the post's image
but its certainly an exciting concept.

Ok folks I talked with the head of Guest relations for the New York store for FAO-SCHWARZ and she told me that they were hoping to be ready some time in October. These will be offered at first in stores only. New York and Las Vegas locations.
These will not look like the Doug and Mellisa puppets offered in the online catalog. She did not say when or if they would be available in the online catalog.

So I hope that clears things up.

I don't know. I did a double take too, only because they're almost exactly how my puppet eyes products are turning out (I've never seen any pics of eyes like that before). Although I'm selling to the Avenue Q/Muppet audience, so that can only be good for me.
Ask Tom (from Puppeteers Unite); could be stock.

The whatnots look OK don't they - not fantastic but looking good. I wonder if its antron fleece? GA Stage must be buzzing if it is.
My only query is do they have permission from Disney/Jim Henson companies for using the word "muppet" - or are they associated/supported by D/JH?
