I've had my eyes on you ever since I started looking up puppet stuff on the web last year.  I love your work.  I just visited your News Blog (click on the link near the bottom of his text box) and enjoyed seeing your new work space.  You have a great work space, very classy.  I particularly like your ventilated area for applying contact cement.  Is that a stove top hood you used to vent fumes?  Very clever.  Did you make the plexiglass surround yourself?

Hi Pam,

  Well, once again, thank you.  I am happy with my workspace.  Yes, it is a stovetop hood range.  It works great.  Yes, I built the enclosure myself.  In fact Gimbul is the first full puppet to some out of my new workshop. 

I have another puppet I am finishing up for a client and then I can do catch up with several other puppets that need to get done.  The contest has forced me to get cracking with my puppet building. 

The contest has proven to be very helpful on many fronts.

Yes, Congratulations Kanja!  I was glad to see that you were one of the winners!  Yours was my favorite. (Just don't let Dr. Dark know I said that.)
